If you’ve ever shivered over the thought, “I’ve got to get (fill in the blank)’s gift and I have no idea what to buy,” you’ve come to the right place.

Wrapped In a Ribbon is managed by two friends who think gift shopping is like being Indiana Jones, without the dust.

Samantha M Clark and P.J. Hoover believe that giving a gift that is truly loved means giving a gift to yourself too. There are only so many times you can get Aunt Sheryl a gift card. And Dad really doesn’t need any more ties. But when your loved ones get something they really love, their eyes light up, they feel special, and they remember how much you thought of them for a long time.

That’s what we strive to do in our own lives. And that’s what we’re here to help YOU do at Wrapped In A Ribbon.

Here are our promises to you:

We will never have gender-based gifts

Let’s face it, gender-based gift lists are lazy, impersonal, and frankly, most of the time wrong. Not every woman wears perfume. Not every man plays golf. The best gifts aren’t about gender—they’re about tapping into your friend or loved one’s interests. That’s why all our lists are about just that. Does your mom love Game of Thrones? We’ve got gift ideas for her. Does your boss like to be charitable? We’ve got gift ideas for them. We’ve got gift ideas for EVERYONE on your list. Find them all in our list of interests.

We will protect you and your data

Giving is fun and we want your experience here to be fun and safe. To that end, we will do whatever we can to make sure you can feel secure that you can interact with us safely. Read our privacy policy here.

We will be a troll-free place

As well as keeping your data safe, we promise to protect you from trolls on our site. Even though we wish it weren’t true, the fact is that sometimes people like to be mean online, but here at Wrapped In A Ribbon, we believe in being nice. That doesn’t mean we don’t welcome your comments that correct us or someone else in a comment (say, for example, if you’ve bought one of the gifts we feature and had a bad experience with it, we’d love for you to let us know). But to make sure this is a safe, fun place to be, we reserve the right to delete any comments that are mean to us or our readers and block any trolls.

We will always be truthful

If we’ve bought the product or service we’re writing about, we won’t write about it unless we love it. However, we don’t have the budget to buy every item on this site. Sometimes we’ll write about items that look amazing, and when we do, we’ll make sure it has excellent reviews from others. Also, many posts on Wrapped In A Ribbon contain affiliate links to Amazon and other online retailers. As an Amazon Associate, Wrapped In A Ribbon earns from qualifying purchases. We receive a small commission when you click on an affiliate link on our site and buy something from the outside retailer. Clicking on an affiliate link does NOT add any cost to you; our commission is a portion of your purchase. We promise, however, that we will never write about a product only because of an affiliate link. We will ONLY write about products and services we are excited about, have bought ourselves, or have researched for quality. Read more about our affiliate links in our Privacy Policy.
