The incredible edible egg is one of the most versatile and useful ingredients in any kitchen. And bonus, they’re cute too. I could happily eat eggs for every meal, and love throwing one on top of a regularly plain dish to give it a bit more flavor. Some days, my lunch is a fried egg on two hot dogs — seriously. For all the people on your gift list who are like me, here’s a guide to 9 eggcelent gifts for eggs.

Adorable! Eggs are cute enough, but put them inside a penguin? Cuteness overload. But this gift isn’t just fun to look at, it’s practical too. These egguins easily hold 6 eggs for storing, boiling and serving. They’re heat resistant and will stop shells from cracking when the eggs are put into boiling water. And at roughly 6 inches by 5 inches by 5 inches, it doesn’t take up too much space in your fridge, counter or table. Love it!
Another cute storage idea is this Egg Skelter. Put your eggs into the rack, then when you pull one from the bottom, the others come tumbling down. So fun! The rack holds around 24 eggs, depending on the size of the eggs, and comes in black, brown, red or silver to fit different kitchen decors.
The Deviled Egg lover in your life will love this Deviled Egg tray complete with horns and spiked tail. It’s made of molded ABS plastic and safe for the dishwasher. The entire tray measures 14.25 inches by 11 inches by 0.5 inch and has cups for 24 Deviled Eggs. Next time they’re making Deviled Eggs for a party, they’ll be able to serve them up true to their name.
If your giftee prefers their eggs on the nicer side, give them the Precious Moments Angeled Egg tray. Isn’t it cute? The ceramic platter is 10 inches in diameter and holds 12 Deviled, I mean Angeled Eggs.
For a more subtle display of Deviled Eggs, I love this stoneware set from Casafina. The round platter is 13.25 inches in diameter and holds 24 Deviled Eggs. Plus there’s a bowl in the middle for decoration or dip. The platter comes in this turquoise, as well as cream, gray, red and white. Plus it’s oven, dishwasher and freezer friendly. Casafina makes gorgeous bakeware, crafted by artists in Portugal. They have other items that match this platter, so check out their whole collection.
For the people in your life who want the perfect yolk, get them the Noble Egg Timer. This nifty little chick floats in the boiling water with your eggs. As the eggs cook, so does the timer, loosing the red of its belly and showing you when your eggs are done. This is different from other egg timers, in that it doesn’t count down the seconds and ding. The Noble Egg won’t make a noise when the eggs are done, so you will have to watch. It’s perfect if you’re cooking eggs while doing other things in the kitchen so you can keep checking on it. Or use it once with a stopwatch so you can figure out the timing for your perfect eggs, then you can use it ding timer and get perfect eggs every time.
To cook eggs while you’re busy, get your family and friends the Dash electric egg cooker. It’s an Amazon’s Choice item that has eggcelent reviews. You just pop in your eggs, choose how you want them then set the timer. A buzzer goes off when they’re done, but if you’re not around, that’s ok because it also has an auto-shutoff. The Dash cooker makes hard and soft boiled eggs, poached eggs, scrambled eggs, even omelets. The cooker has a maximum capacity of 6 eggs at a time, and comes with a measuring cup, recipe book and access to a recipe database. Best of all, you can choose from the 5 colors in the picture to match the kitchen.
This wonderful kit is perfect for anyone who loves soft-boiled eggs, but also fantastic for people who like to get creative in the way they serve food with eggs. Egg shells can crack easily, but this topper has a vibrating blade that smoothly cuts off the top of the shell so it can be cleaned and used for fun plating. The stainless steel is also elegant. It’s no wonder this is a #1 best seller on Amazon.
With all the wonderful gifts for eggs, we need to have good egg recipes to cook. There are a number on the market, but the one I’m most excited to try is The Perfect Egg, written by Spoon Fork Bacon bloggers Teri Lyn Fisher and Jenny Park. The book teaches you about eggs, and has more than 70 recipes made with eggs, including entrees, snacks and desserts. Like Blackberry Stuffed Croissant French Toast, Hot and Sour Soup, Poached Yolk-Stuffed Ravioli and Creamy Lemon Curd Tart. Yum!
