For me, I’m partial to Hard Work, But It’s Worth it: The Life of Jimmy Carter because it has wonderful illustrations, it’s written beautifully, and it tells of a life of kindness. The picture book was just released last month and makes a presidential gift that’s a work of art. Full disclosure: It’s also written by a friend of mine, but she’s a brilliant writer and I’d only recommend a friend’s book if I really loved them.

Fans of politics love to show off their knowledge, so give them a fun way to do that. The U.S. Presidents BrainBox is a 10-minute brain challenge game for one or more players.
