6 Mood Rings Filled with Fashion and Fun

I still own my childhood mood ring. I loved the thing. From the way it looked to how it would actually change color, it provided years of moody happiness. I’d put the hair dryer on it and watch it change color. Put it in the freezer and see what happened. I was always mesmerized by how it actually worked. It has long since stopped working (I’m guessing I submerged it in water at some point?), but I still keep it in a special place in my jewelry box because of how much it meant to me.

I was at a rock shop not too long ago and was thrilled to discover that not only do they still sell mood rings, there are so many varieties now! Fashion has been ratcheted up a notch, and there are mood rings stylized to fit every personality (and mood, dare I say). I’ve searched about and come up with some of my favorites. And honestly, I can’t recommend this gift enough, given how much mine meant to me.

If you’re going for a fancy mood ring with a solid setting, then I’d recommend the sterling silver plated Mojo Jewelry Mood Ring. It comes in normal oval cut and diamond cut and is great if the special someone you’re shopping for loves a heftier piece of jewelry. Solid and beautiful!

If you’re shopping for a person who loves to accessorize and can’t get enough jewelry, I love this three-pack of mood rings. This set comes with a fancy oval, a heart, and a darling sea turtle. Your special someone will love mixing and matching, wearing all three at once, comparing the moods. So many options and truly fun. Also the band is adjustable, making it an easy fit.

There is something so simple get gorgeous about this rose gold mood ring band. The lines are so sleek, and rose gold is all the rage. Since I had an oval mood ring growing up, I was thrilled to discover that mood ring bands were even a thing. This one is fitted so make sure to figure out the correct size before you order.

Unicorns and mood rings? Yes, please! I’m not sure how you could go wrong with this purchase. The ring itself is darling, it will change color with emotions (and temperature), and it’s adjustable, making it a great gift for any unicorn lover out there! Comes with a great gift box, too.

I love this mood ring! I think it’s a combination of that fascination I had with my zodiac sign growing up combined with how cool I thought mood rings were anyway. So seriously? A zodiac mood ring? Love! The ring is not sized, making it a great choice for wearing as a pendant or on whatever finger it happens to fit on. So fun and so retro!

My top choice for looks is this fancy looking vintage mood ring. For me that comes down to the fact that I love vintage jewelry, and when that’s put together with a mood ring, I’m all in. This one is gorgeous, and I’m willing to bet that your special someone will think so too. It’s adjustable, too, making it a great choice if you aren’t quite sure of your special someone’s ring size.
