6 Gifts for People Who Had A Commodore 64

Hey Gamers! Tomorrow is National Video Game Day making it a great day for Commodore 64 gifts! I’m not sure about everyone else, but I really developed my first love of video games when I got my Commodore 64! Man, I adored that thing. I learned to program on it (HELLO WORLD!) and I also spent many an hour playing old school games, including Q*Bert and the original Castle Wolfenstein! So much fun! If you have a special someone in your life who has those wonderful memories of the Commodore 64 like I do, I figured out some amazing gifts for you to give. Whether you’re looking for something a bit useful or something that will make an amazing decoration on a bookshelf or in an office, I’ve got you covered!

Commodore 64 GiftsGAME CONSOLE AND JOYSTICK

I should mention right off that this is not an original Commodore 64. This is a replica for today that comes with 64 pre-installed games and a joystick! This is a fun, great gift for that person who had the Commodore 64 and wants to relive some of that nostalgia but doesn’t just want something that sits on a shelf. A fun choice when it comes to Commodore 64 gifts!

Commodore 64 GiftsINSTRUCTION MANUAL

A few years ago I bought one of these for myself. I visit schools and talk to kids about reading, books, and programming, and I show off this beauty. The best thing about when I received this was opening it up and seeing the original “how to program” information that was inside. That was the best kind of memory and one I am so happy to have. Looking for some cool Commodore 64 gifts? This is a perfect choice!

Q*BERT GAME CARTRIDGE

Now this was my first game on the Commodore 64. I loved it so much! I played and played, and even though I was never the greatest player in the world, I still loved it. I have no idea if this cartridge would still work, but as far as a really cool gift to get a Commodore 64 fans, this is a wonderful choice!

Commodore 64 GiftsT-SHIRT

Maybe you’re looking for something retro but that can be used right now when it comes to Commodore 64 gifts. If so, a T-shirt is always a great way to show what you love. I personally think this shirt would look amazing on me (and on your special someone for that matter). Make sure to order the right size!

As another pretty useful gift for the person that loved the Commodore 64, this mug is cool and colorful and completely retro. Anyone who loved their Commodore 64, will happily look forward to drinking a hot beverage of their choice out of this wonderful mug!

JR. PAC-MAN CARTRIDGE

Not my favorite game, but the Pac-Man franchise is always a great one for that retro gifting! Again, no idea if this would actually work, but for the retro game collector in your life, this is a great choice when it comes to Commodore 64 gifts!
