Happy National Skyscraper Day! When my kids were growing up, we had so many Lego and other building sets around the house, but one thing we didn’t have any of were skyscraper building sets. For my son, it was mostly castle and Star Wars. My daughter liked whatever he liked. I think the dawn of the skyscraper building sets came a bit too late for us, but for you or your special someone, I have very good news. There are lots of building sets out there for you to pick from. Whether you’re looking for little ones or adults, there is something for everyone!

Ever been to Hong Kong? I haven’t either. But this inFUNity Hong Kong building set makes me want to! The pieces are compatible with Lego, and there are over 1000 of them to put together. If you have a Lego or building fan, this is a set you are going to want to check out!
I’ve never put together any Nanoblock sets, but they have fantastic reviews over on Amazon. This Empire State building kit comes with over 700 pieces and will end up standing 8 inches tall, making it perfect for a bookshelf or dresser top to be displayed in your special someone’s house. The bricks are small, making it great for ages 8 and up.
When it comes to skyscraper building kits, it’s hard to go wrong with a selection from Dubai. Whether it’s this set above or just the Burj Khalifa alone, for any architecture fan who also loves building sets, this is a great choice! Also, it will look amazing on display! This comes with 740 pieces and is a brand new set for 2020.
If you’re looking for skyscraper building sets for the younger crowd, then this wooden block set of famous landmarks is not only fun to play with, they’re going to learn about some really cool buildings while they play. It’s a 15 piece set of 8 landmarks, AND it glows in the dark! I’m sold!
I’m not sure this is technically a skyscraper, but this Eiffel Tower set was just to pretty to leave out. I absolutely love the finished shape of the piece and how it angles up. This is a promise of hours and hours of fun because it has 3369 microbricks (which are smaller than Lego). The finished height is over 16 inches tall. A great choice when it comes to skyscraper building sets!
