Word games are all the rage. People LOVE Scrabble and Words with Friends and play them constantly. This week happens to be National Scrabble Day, and if you know someone who loves Scrabble, then Scrabble gifts are sure to make them happy! Whether you’re looking for a new game board or some Scrabble-themed art to hang around the house, we’ve got you covered here at Wrapped in a Ribbon. I’ve gathered together some of my favorites to share with you guys in case you’re looking for a gift for a special Scrabble-loving someone. Love Scrabble and have a great gift idea? I’d love to know what it is!
I love the retro simplicity of this mug. It’s colorful yet simple and is a great choice for pretty much anyone. It has all the letters so your special someone can learn the point values for each of them, and the best part? There’s even a fun little extra Scrabble square in the bottom, so when the coffee is gone, they get a triple score!
If you’re looking for nice personalized Scrabble gifts for your special someone, this letter necklace is it! You can custom order the first letter of their name (or really of whatever word you’d like). It’s recycled wood and comes on a sterling silver plated ball necklace. Fun and simple, your Scrabble lover will adore this gift!
This Scrabble Giant Deluxe Board has so many upscale features, but I think my favorite feature is the fact that it rotates, making it so whoever’s turn it is, they can rotate the board toward them and take their turn. This is the best, because I’m not sure about you guys, but when I play Scrabble I totally have to rotate the board toward myself (as do the other players). This board is 50% larger than a normal Scrabble board, has solid wood mahogany tiles, and a raised grid to hold the tiles in place. For the serious Scrabble player, this is a beautiful choice.
For the household that loves to Scrabble, this message board is so much fun! You can leave each other messages with tiles on the board. Either reminders of things to do, or just a special someone to let them know you are thinking about them. And hey, if messages are not your thing, you can even have an ongoing game going on.
For some reason, I absolutely love these patent prints of things. I know I’ve posted about the Rubik’s Cube one before, but this Scrabble one is equally awesome. It’s like we’re getting a small insight into how thing were thought up and invented and I absolutely love that. Comes unframed, but pair it with a frame it you think your special someone would like that also.
