I’ve been a fan of Funko POP figures since they first started coming out. They seemed to stick with fandoms for a while, but in the past years, they have branched out to so many more things. The other day I was browsing in a vinyl record store and spotted the most amazing retro POP figure. I wanted it on the spot. And it got me searching around. There had to be more. Sure enough, I was right. In fact there are so many amazing Retro POP figures, that I’ve picked 10 of my favorites and decided to split them up over two days. If you are looking for a gift for a kid of the 70s or 80s, you can’t go wrong with one of these amazing gems.
Kool-Aid Man POP
So this is the POP figure I saw yesterday in the record store. I love this thing, and I’m pretty sure everyone who grew up in the 70s and 80s can relate. Hey Kool-Aid!!!! You can’t go wrong with this one!
Morton Salt Girl POP
Even now, when buying salt, I always go for Morton’s. The colors in this are great, timeless, she’s darling, and everybody needs salt.
Energizer Bunny POP
This is a great choice for that person in your life who does not slow down. Not only will you be feeding into the fun retro aspect, you’ll be nodding to this person’s enthusiasm for accomplishing anything and everything.
Twinkie the Kid POP
Remember those years when Twinkie’s were taken off the shelf? The public cried out. They wanted Twinkie’s back. And sure enough, back they came. For your snack lover, this cute little Twinkie The Kid is sure to make them happy.
Captain Crunch POP
I was never allowed Captain Crunch cereal growing up, but you can bet that when I went to college, it was on my tray every morning for breakfast. Man, Captain Crunch is some seriously good cereal, and its mascot is even cuter.
