5 Fancy Hourglass Gifts to Help the Time Go By

People have been mentioning quite a bit recently about how slowly time is going by. “March was the longest five years of my life,” I’ve heard quite a bit. It’s so strange how time does seem to pass at different speeds. Or paces. But I’m going to go with a scientific theory here. Time always passes at the same pace, no matter what it may seem like. I have a way to prove this. An hourglass never lies. And a fancy hourglass makes a great gift for that special someone in your life who enjoys watching the sands of time go by. I’ve looked around and come up with some of my favorites. If you have an hourglass that you’ve treasured, I’d love to see a picture!

Fancy hourglass15 MINUTE ROTATING

If you’re looking for something cool and fancy looking that you’ll actually used, to, this hourglass is it. Since it’s only 15 minutes, it’s great for keeping track of a short simple task. Meditation. Folding laundry. Dusting. It’s small enough to go anywhere yet fancy enough to be remembered. Also, check the options, because there’s a pretty cool golden cobra one available also.

GOTHIC DRAGON

Now this is an hourglass to get noticed. If you have a dragon fan in your life, they will absolutely adore this masterpiece. With red sand and antiqued looking bronze decor, it is perfect for home, work, on a desk, a bookshelf. Four fearless dragons guard the sands of time, and your fantasy lover will be so excited to receive this.

If you’re looking for a fancy hourglass that is a bit more simple than the four dragons, this glass hourglass is the one. At 30 minutes, it’s again a nice way to time out a small specific task. I love the purple sand, too, along with the sleek glass outer casing. Make sure to check the options as there are all sorts of different times and styles to choose from.

VINTAGE ROTATING

I’m a sucker for these rotating things that look like rotating spheres (called armillary by the way. I’ve known that before, but had to look it up). So of the hourglasses thus far mentioned, this is my favorite. In all honestly, I’m not sure it would be the most useful of the ones in this post, but I sure do love it way it looks. Make sure to look at all the options, because they have some really cool fancy hourglasses to choose from.

MYTHICAL FANTASY

I couldn’t resist including one more hourglass with dragons. There is just something to perfect about mythical dragons guarding the hourglass of time. I can see a story forming in my head. I love that this one is completely different from the one above and yet has many similar elements. Again, for the dragon collector, a fancy hourglass is a great way to go.
