3 Personalized Gifts to Get for Pet Lovers

In the event I haven’t mentioned it yet (which is an oversight on my part), I have four pets. Two are giant Sulcata tortoises that roam my backyard (names are King Tort and Nefertorti, just FYI). Two are dogs. When it comes to dogs, I love little dogs. I have a Yorkie (Xena) and a Maltese (Homer). My pets are absolutely the cutest things ever, and I tell people about them all the time (and post pictures, of course). So imagine how thrilled I was when I received a gift of personalized socks last month featuring my darling dogs.

Seriously, this was like the best gift ever. Not only did the gift giver know I loved my dogs, they took the time to grab a photo off Facebook and then custom order the socks for me. With a little bit of advanced planning, you can be this type of amazing gift giver, and in addition to socks, I’ve come up with a handful of suggestions on personalized gifts you can give featuring the recipient’s pets (but including the socks, too).

Here they are in all their glory! These are the actual socks I received. I love the color (though you can order different colors as desired). You can customize with one pet or two (such as with my socks). They come in Youth, Men’s, and Women’s sizes. And the quality is top notch. These are not cheap socks that will wear out after a couple of washes. These socks are built to last. Seriously, I want to order these for every person on my gift list. And just in the event that dogs (or pets) are not for your gift receiver, there are so many other options. As if the socks themselves are not enough, for every pair sold, the company donates a pair to a homeless shelter for those in need.

When I spotted these canvas portraits on Facebook, I fell in love and decided that I needed one of these portraits for each of my dogs. For a completely reasonable price, you can custom order a portrait featuring your giftee’s pet in fine Renaissance clothing. There are so many options to choose from (not just fancy either—think space suits and ice hockey players). If the price of the canvas print makes you a bit reluctant, you can order posters and phone cases, too. I honestly think the biggest issue here is deciding which clothing to choose, as there are so many options. Your gift receiver is going to love this!

I love everything about this tote bag, from the variety of colors to the three sizes. And of course then there is the cartoon rendition of your gift receiver’s favorite friend (although after you gift this tote bag, you may be the new favorite friend). You can add a name or a quote also to the bag when ordered, though the simplicity of just the image is so perfect, in my opinion. Everyone can always use another tote, and this one will quickly become an all-time favorite.
